Snow Snow go away!!

Can you belevive that it was a snow storm yesterday???? welll it is true i had to shovel this morning! But at least it is a nicer day today so it might all just melt away, we can only hope right.

Not much going on here at home, the kids are being relativly good, as good as a 2 yr old and 5 year old would be lol, and yesterday i finally had my first real break from both the kids in 1 mnth and 3 weeks for 2.5 hours it was great, even though i worried about Mel for the first hour and a half, but then i did laundry and kust hung out at home. Don't get me wrong i love my kids to death, but i am used to being a working mom and this whole being a stay at home mom thing is still new to me, plus i don't have my husband coming home at night to help me out. I know that people may argue and say that they can do it for 6 months without a break or whatever, well i say good for them!! LOL but i am happy because i got a break that i feel i deserved :) so there!! But Mel is having a nap and Michael is playing video games so i think i am going to go watch one of my shows before mel wakes up and we have to watch Dora for the ret of the day LMAO. Bye babe love ya!!!

I have been told lol

LMAO well i have been told by my husband to start writing again, so here i am writing just for him just because i love him sooo much.

What is with the weather? first it is freezing and i mean freezing cold, then it starts to get nicer out the snow starts to melt a little and the sun is out more, then we get dumped on approx 20-25 cm of snow and then it gets nice again and now we have freezing rain, rain then snow. Common mother nature give us a break it is almost the middle of March, we need some nice weather, I AM SICK OF WINTER!!!! I just thought i would vent about the weather.

So whats new with me, i had my sister in law com and vsit for a few hours last week, and then my mother in law came up and stayed with us for a few days this week, that is why i have not been writing much, been busy busy. But the kids loved having grandma here and Michael was very sad to see her go, it was also nice for Melody to wear someone else out!!! haha it's true giant ball of energy right here in my own home!

I have also started a Myspace it is a work in progress but it is turning out to be great so take a look i will add it to my other links :)

Today is one month, since jeff left for afghanistan, i have to say this month has gone by soooo slow, i am hoping that it will start going by a little faster now that the first month is done.
not too much new to report here i will add more at the end of the day if i remember lol have a good day :)

I need a break

I have no idea why i decided to quit smoking this week, but am already getting the feeling that i made a mistake picking this week to do it, my kids have been just pushing and pushing my Patience, and things with my husband are getting more and more difficult with being separated, we argue about the dumbest things and i have no idea why. Ohhh this tour stuff sucks!!!!! i am feeling so drained right now emotionally. and it has only been one month tomorrow i still have to go through 5 more months of this HELL. My poor friend Katie has been having to hear about all of this stuff i just feel so bad having to vent to her but i have no one else to talk to about how i am feeling, i would talk to my mom but , she just doesn't understand what i am going through even though she has been through deployments before, she just has the suck it up and deal with attitude which is fine if that works for her but i am more emotional and i can't just suck it up and deal with it. I need to talk about how i am feeling or i will burst.
But whatever not much i can do about the situation, i can only hope that when the weather gets nicer out the kids will start behaving because we can play outside more, but that's not going to be anytime soon, we are in for a snow storm tonight they are saying we might be getting anywhere between 15-20 cm fun fun, at least i only have a sidewalk to shovel, that is if the snowplow doesn't plow my husbands car in, common nice weather. well i guess that is enough venting for now.

Quitting Smoking

so today i have decided to quit smoking i haven't had a smoke since 8:00am this morning, i must admit it is very hard especially with being alone with both the kids driving me a little bonkers lol but i know if i try really hard i can do it.
So yesterday both the kids had an accident i got a phone call form Michael's school around 2:00pm saying i had to come get him because he had split his chin open on the playground so i went took a look and ya he hurt it but nothing major, he got very upset and wanted to stay at school so i let him. I picked him up at 3:00pm and he was doing better we got home and about a half hour later i hear Melody crying upstairs so i went up and all i saw was blood all over her face i had no idea where it was coming from or what had happened, it turned out to be her lip, it was cut, Michael got mad at her and decided to throw a dinky car at her face and it cut her, omg what could happen next, nothing else did happen but thank god i didn't pick yesterday to quit smoking because i would have failed miserably, but on a positive note the kids are just fine today gotta love them though. well that's all for now i will ttyl have a good night.

OH by the way my quit smoking ticker is at the bottom it shows you how long it has been how many smokes i have not had, and how much money i saved it is a pretty cool thing take a look :)
